Acting as a key player, Agora is part of Intercorp, one of Peru’s largest conglomerates (+ 40 companies). With four multidisciplinary squads dedicated full-time, we are the strategy, research, and design partners for Intercorp’s new SuperApp.
This platform integrates a digital wallet, banking, retail (last – mile), and an attractive loyalty program through a tailor made user centered experience. Up to date, Intercorp’s SuperApp has over 2 million users.

Focus, Methodology and Governance
Our human centered design approach allows us to take on challenges in the best possible way. The governance model we defined leads us to collaborate intelligently and efficiently, aligning all stakeholders with a vertical and horizontal communication flow. We currently work under an integrated squad approach, actively collaborating with the top management team, product owners, technology team, research, and growth team.
Our role throughout the project.
We are in charge of research, user experience, interface design, user testing, and growth driven design. In addition, we are responsible for the construction, growth and governance of the Design System, always thinking about product consistency, scalability, agility and efficiency.
Get to know the story behind how it all began.
We began by understanding the project objectives and the market fit that the business was seeking with the users of Agora’s different products. We analyzed the strategic roadmap and actively collaborated in the prioritization of initiatives and features that the app would require.
Results.
Agora has over 2.5 million users!
Up to date, Agora has more than 2.5 million users, a true milestone for the company. We have increased the amount of active users as well as customer satisfaction, taking the end to end experience to another level. In addition, excellent results have been achieved in other important KPI’s defined.
Focused on generating value with the proper skillset.
Our multi-disciplinary team has a wide range of specific, high level skills. Our squads are focused on three important fronts: achieving backlog goals, generating real project and business value, and finally, maximizing organizational challenges while being able to identify and capitalize over new opportunities.
Cost reduction + agile scalability.
The defined governance model, together with an appropriate strategic approach and a high standard of execution, has allowed us to reduce the time to market of multiple digital products. In addition, we have managed to reduce operating costs by collaborating in an agile, intelligent, and efficient manner, integrating squads depending on backlog necessities.
Knowledge consolidation and learning curves.
Continuous growth with the same team allows you to consolidate knowledge, establish an execution and documentation flow, and make future learning curves easier. It also allows us to train your team, generating new skills in the organization through practice.
